Dave Ramsey Destroys Obamacare
EagleRising.com ^ | 14 October 2013 | Dave Ramsey

Posted on 10/14/2013 10:00:25 AM PDT by fwdude

Dave Ramsey has been speaking financial sense to millions of people for years. He has taught Americans that credit is not the beautiful thing that banks and credit card companies have tried to make it out to be. He has taught Americans that spending more than you make is never a good idea. He has taught Americans that now is always the right time to fix your spending habits and get your financial house in order. A few days ago, Mr. Ramsey decided to share his wisdom with people of all political affiliations on how the Obamacare legislation would affect every American, no matter their political beliefs.

"You’re not exempt from math if you’re a Republican, and you’re not exempt from math if you’re a Democrat. You’re not exempt from math if you’re a liberal, and you’re not exempt from math if you’re a conservative. You still have to do math."

Dave elucidates in the plain, laser-sharp style he is known for. Why can't politicians do the same?

Read many of his excellent points. You can't suspend gravity because you want to.

“The math stuff was fine up until about 7th grade...” After that "I’m pretty lost.”

He does not mention the other reason premiums are going up: Wealth Redistribution.
Those who CAN pay a premium are expected to pay double or more, so the 0bama voters who can't pay or won't pay will get theirs for free.

Dave Ramsey was the guest speaker at our church yesterday. I missed it because I have been sick so I stayed home.

Math??? Isn’t that what Barney Frank refers to as a church service?

Ramsey may have a fault or two (I think he underestimated the practical role that the ubiquitous credit scoring system means in many [not all] situations of procuring employment, as the now-sheltered self made millionaire he is) — but anyhow, mincing words is not among them!

PIPE DREAM. PIPE DREAM. FOLKS, TIME TO TAKE THE NALOXONE AND GET OUT OF IT.

And more is getting skimmed off the top as overhead (meaning fat paychecks to gummit “workers” and connected “industries”) — which wouldn’t be so bad if doctors and nurses got their due too but they don’t!

BIG FAT HONKING TRAIN WRECK and the Lord has to be ruefully laughing from heaven to behold this.

Cash is good. Debt is bad. That is all one needs to know. Doesn’t require math, just discipline and common sense.

Ramsey is another pied piper of tyranny.

Pretends to be a “Christian,” but constantly denies the truth of God’s word by dismissing the conspiratorial nature of the system that enslaves us.

Mystery Babylon does not exist according to Ramsey.

Proudly making money off of the misery of others.

Ha! In a church that is too chicken to tell him that hey, there’s a God whose love is better than his proud liberal dreams, and get his act together before partaking of said communion....

It’s easy to idolize economics, and Christians in specialty ministries have to be careful not to push their specialty upon the whole world like it was the center of God’s wisdom, but I never heard about these allegations. Mystery Babylon? Doesn’t he at least acknowledge that Satan exists?

Mr Micawber’s famous, and oft-quoted, recipe for happiness:

“Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen [pounds] nineteen [shillings] and six [pence], result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery.”

He denies the basic conspiracies, much like Rush does.

Neither of them would have a radio voice if they didn’t, but this is the nature of hypocrisy.

never heard him discuss Satan, one way or the other.

I tend to be rather light on the worldly conspiracy theory without good evidence. I say the Lord’s ministry is still too marked today to allow a whole lot of that to go on, but that’s just MHO and I would yield to facts that are more than just teasers. I’ve seen a lot of teasers.

Inasmuch as we do have coincidence between systems of human evil, I would trace the control of that to things that are happening OFF earth (in Hell), not ON earth. And even when it does deteriorate (as in Revelation prophesied times) to literal worldly conspiracies, that is only going to be a shallow dip into, a faint echo of, what’s going on in Hell. Again my read, MHO.

Alright, what are these “basic conspiracies” and how do you trace them to world events? I gladly color myself skeptical here, being optimistic until there is an excellent reason to go pessimistic.

PS... good theology matters. Rush might stand to treat the matter of Satan explicitly, but that would blow off a lot of secular audiences. He’s a conservative, not a particularly Christian, commentator.

"You’re not exempt from math if you’re a Republican, and you’re not exempt from math if you’re a Democrat.

Democrats 'feel' they're exempt from math... and that makes it true in their unicorn world...

Oh for the love of Pete.......So you define a Christian as “Believes in conspiracies”.

I thought it had something to do with Jesus.
