The goal of requiring female jury dutyand combat dutyis to break open the family to the claws of the state. It's to make the household a temporary grouping, instead of an autonomous unit that governs itself, and to make every person, including small children, individually subject to state authority. This statist religion requires that no decision be too private to be subject to the review and intervention of the state. And that the state be subject to no one.Im sure that there are many who would take issue with calling it a goal and instead might simply call it unintended consequences of the effort to achieve gender equality
. but regardless, it certainly is a direct outcome and it highlights what happens when laws and culture conspire to push agendas that dont hold family, marriage and life sacrosanct. Thanks for your thoughts on that
they were both intelligent and sobering.

Another Judge who went to the Roland Freisler School of Law.

I think she should have asked the judge if the problem could simply be solved by quietly breastfeeding the child while she sat listening to testimony with the other jurorsCertain mistrial.
When one is serving on a jury their undivided attention is required.

Nope; 5 months can have a sitter.
...and s/he's even had a sex change already.
she took son she's breastfeeding ... delivered her daughter Axel in March and was breastfeeding when she was called for jury duty in August.
I think more facts need to trickle down before passing judgment here.
