It will be like the USSR, everyone had healthcare as a right except it was unattainable (unless they were a party leader). Same thing in Cuba.

“People on Medicaid are not eligible for obamacare. It has to be medicare.”

Got that backwards... People on Medicare are not eligible for obamacare. It has to be Medicaid.

The greatest truth Pelosi has ever spoken.....”we have to pass it to see what’s in it.”

Obamacare is a mess and its not going to work but of course that was most probably the idea but I want everyone to get ready for the reality of when the GOP starts saying there is no way we can throw all these people off Medicaid or take away their Obamacare.

Not Medicaid? You’re sure?”

Nope - these patients all have Medicare. And there are a lot of them.

After a person is on disability for 2 years they can get Medicare.

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) not Supplemental Security Income (SSI). SSI goes to Medicaid. Medicare eligibility begins at age 65 for Retirement and Survivors Insurance (RSI).

Disabled beneficiaries under age 65 who have been receiving Social Security disability benefits for more than 24 months

If you have been receiving (or have been entitled to receive) Social Security disability benefits for at least 24 months (not necessarily consecutively), you may be eligible to enroll in Medicare. To enroll, you must be entitled to benefits in one of the following categories:
You are disabled, of any age and receiving worker’s disability benefits
You are a disabled widow or widower age 50 or older, or
You are a disabled beneficiary who is older than age 18 who receives benefits based on a disability that occurred before age 22

Is this the wrong scoop?

the headline reads
“HIGH Medicaid enrollment threatens Obamacare…”

and then it goes on to say
“Apparently the numbers of people enrolling in Medicare are far higher than expected “

Is it Medicare or Medicaid?

I took a year long ICD coding and medical terminology class.

The teacher told us medicaid was state and medicare was federal.

It is Medicaid. You have to cut the reporter some slack, after all it has been many years since reporters at CBS have even attempted to report the news.

“So now we know that any Governor who acted to expand medicare earlier this year is complicit in this treasonous monstrosity.”

Most state governors, regardless of party affiliation, can’t help but feed at the Federal trough. To not do so exposes them as oblivious to “the needs” of their state. This largely explains Chris Christie’s warm embrace of Obama during storm Sandy last year. He was more concerned with re-election than doing what is right for the country.

No problem, Obamacare is to big to fail so he will subsidize it with our tax money.

Instead of just "buying" $85 billion in bonds a month, the Fed will branch out and start buying and extra $20 billion in "Insurance Chits" too...
