Hardly a commercial break went by in October when Virginia voters werent reminded of Ken Cuccinellis far-right views on abortion and other social issues.
How much of a difference the deluge ultimately made after Cuccinellis surprisingly narrow loss against Democrat Terry McAuliffe is open for debate. What isnt in dispute is that Democrats and womens groups believe their war on women playbook worked. And they have every intention of using it again in 2014,

What IS the war on women? In what is now a police state, courtesy of 0bama and company?
Which women are attacked, how, and why? Who encourages women to be able to defend themselves and how?
Excuse me Sir, how would you describe the Ideal woman ?
I don’t if there was a war on women, but if there was, the women in my house won.
Obamacare is forced sterilization of women. Just start showing that on billboards.
True? No. But make the left defend it.
The GOPe has to proclaim that.
They openly LIE to women on facebook.
They say that Ted Cruz is trying to deny women the vote in Texas (because of voter ID laws).
They say that some televangelist that Glenn Beck likes the the TOP Republican senate candidate in Texas (he's not even running).
They say that Texas passed a laws regarding masturbation after Wendy Davis’ filibuster (the article came from a “satire” site but they believed it).
Similar strategies they have to keeping black people voting Democrat "They gon' put y'all back in chains!" - VP Joe Biden, the robocall telling black people that if GW Bush was elected in 2000, more black men would be dragged behind cars and killed, etc.
Then there is the whole man made global warming hysteria.
You can reason with it. It's their religion and they won't give it up easily. They would have to admit that they realize they've been lied to their whole life.
If it’s half, then it’s by definition a war on people, not just women.
If they can’t shout ‘racism’, they shout sexism.
This is the setup for Hillary vs. Anybody
I think it would be good to define what the war on women is.
Democrats/liberals throw these slogans and one liners out there, but does anybody know what they mean?
Are women not welcome in the GOP; is that what liberals mean? I can think of four women Republican governors off the top of my head. I believe that there are more Republican women governors than Democrats at this point. Are these women the equivalent of Uncle Tom Negroes????
Who ever decided that women have to be Democrats in the first place? If you look at polls, significant percentages of women oppose abortion on demand, for example. The liberal view is that to be a good woman, you have to support abortion on demand, otherwise you are a traitor to the cause.
The whole premise behind the war on women is absurd. Yet that’s one of the battles we are fighting.
I suppose money will be the answer then, to fight the lies with paid adverts, something Cooch did not do.
It’s also the collectivist view that say all women think alike which is like saying all men think alike.
Also, it’s the feminist viewpoint that fathers and husbands need to be replaced with a bigger state in order to “liberate” females. Of course, a bigger state only oppresses and takes freedoms from men and women alike but don’t let logic get in the way of a good PR campaign for the lo-fo voters.
True. Children sacrificed to the lefty’s god Moloch.
They are the biggest voters and easy to fool with words. This has been true since the one word that was used on eve.
“Hardly a commercial break went by in October when Virginia voters werent reminded of Ken Cuccinellis far-right views on abortion and other social issues.”
RINO answer: “Then we need to adopt leftist social views and we’ll win like Mitt Romney and Scott Brown!” How did that work out for them?
Younger unmarried women = sluts. Obamunists are offering to give them free birth control and abortions. We can’t compete with that.
The sad part was Journ-0-list Stephanopolus telegraphed this in the first R debate in Jan 2012, Limbaugh correctly identified the plan, and several candidates still got ambushed.
Any statewide race (Senate or Gov) in a middle to large state is going to draw full fire from the national MSM.
We know that, but relying upon the voters we need to swing the election to understand it has been demonstrated to be enough.
rather: “not enough”
I think the real dirty, little secret is that the Women’s Lib movement was NEVER about ‘equal rights’. It was about collecting more revenue through working woman. Abortion is part of this. Dems can’t have another revenue source taking time off to have kids and raise a family! They have their coffers to fill.
