By and large, the Christian community has NO TEACHINGS in its Scriptures or church teachings for violence and murder. Although there have been examples of such actions in the past - for the overwhelming majority, in the present — no such thing exists, as in Islam and the Koran.
HOWEVER, that being said, there are a very few and smallish number involved in extremism. One example is just a few miles from me - the Christian Identity group in Oklahoma. The overwhelming number of Christians would disavow any connection to “Christianity” by them. This group is the group that had Timothy McVeigh over a few times and may have helped him.
I’ve got a relative (actually dead now) who was in the Christian Identity group, and they’re a mean bunch that you don’t want to mess with.
A lot of people are just free-floating crazies who will glom onto anything. If this was 1900 he would have been an anarchist or a wobbly (violent communist labor group.) It’s just that jihad is in the news now.

Anybody else getting a little suspicious of these supposed plots that pop up randomly? We keep hearing about the terrorists in our midst, but then it all fizzles. I haven’t heard of many trials or convictions. Is the government encouraging not-too-bright guys to make statements and do things they might not without the help? Then they quietly let them go, because they know they don’t have enough to convict them.
Don’t get me wrong about Islam. If I had my way, it would be outlawed in this country and Muzzies would all be shipped back to the dirtbag country of their choice. I just think the government uses these “scary” stories to keep us from complaining about their infringing on our rights and privacy.

I don’t know how much truth there is in that theory, but I’ll have to admit to thinking they are up to no good. I just don’t know what issues are involved at all times.

My wife grew up in Wichita, two years ago we were traveling to an eatery, on our way we passed by a huge Muslim religious center! I kept thinking what are these people doing here in Kansas. It was spooky to see the dome and crescent moon in the Heartland!

Yes, you can conjure the scene up as the ‘suspect’ is sitting in a bar griping, the FBI looking for something to do, engages the dude and it (over a period of time) gets suggested the way he can get the day off is to create a diversion and take advantage of it.
Then, through the wonders of modern science, they created a dialogue.
Then, when he went to carry out the plan the FBI sprung into action.....
