And the gullible LeftStream Media wonder why America is polarized - - - .
It does sound kind of grandiose doesn’t it? This governorship has gone from a servant’s position to an emperorhood.
I think that particular variety of poisoned Kool-Aid is trickling down from Obama. Like the bible says, waters in abundance are drained by them. Well the nemesis that the Lord will cause Obama to pull down upon himself, will get pulled down on his poisoned Kool-Aid drinkers. I think we are going to see a big fat divine rebuke of the Democrats in the not too far future. And they will have earned it for themselves. And the GOP would do well to keep their own prides in check when it happens, because they simply managed not to boo God, they weren’t all that great shakes as far as performance.
I’ll take an educated guess and say that our nation alone has slaughtered more children (unborn) through the vile act of abortion than those who worshipped Baal.
Does our nation really think we can keep engaging in this vile practice in the name of “women’s rights” and “progress” and not be subject to a Holy God’s Judgment? We’re going to reap what we’ve sown as a nation. As you have said: God is not mocked.
We can’t. But God keeps trying to offer grace to us. I think the Democrats, from whom most of the cheering for this killing comes, are going to be made to destroy themselves. Because the GOP has not booed God. Yet. That’s something even more fundamental than the murders. Because without acknowledging God, soon we will have murder city everywhere, not just in these abortion chambers.
I think we are looking for an Old Testament style beat down. But face it, it has never happened in the world, not since Christ. Christ is God’s bragging rights. That is humongous news. It is a game changer. I think we are going to see a faith revolution here in America. God will wake up the drowsy churches with something undeniable.
Oh, Mario...I think you need to have a word with the boy.
Which, by the way, is why there is a “catching up in the air” (call it a rapture or whatever you want) in the schedule. In order to let the rest of the world go to hell, the Christians have to be plucked out. But there may be some more earthly hurrahs for Heaven coming up. Call me whacky but I sense it in my spirit. We aren’t at the “pluck them out” point QUITE yet.
When a nation chooses to ignore God's laws and His very existence, evil will always be the result. So will knowing the truth and remaining silent for fear of offending someone.
It is true, the dems did cheer when they voted to take God out of their official platform at their convention, but I’m taking NO satisfaction just because the GOP didn't follow suite. Their actions (as a body) are disgraceful! They are not challenging homosexual marriage; they are not fighting the oppositions party's assault on our freedoms and rights; Obamacare etc.

This is Good News!
But we should never forget, when Christ Jesus comes back, He’s not coming back as Savior; He’s coming back as Judge. People need to understand this.
God sees it differently in this Christ-ruled era.
Now we have a Savior who can not only correct the half-filled glass, He can overflow it.
I have dug deep into Christ and I don’t see a God of “tut-tut-tut” I see a God of “when are you coming home?”
You’re looking at stuff through Old Testament glasses and (face it) your own fallenness.
Christ is God’s bragging rights to grace. It is going to look different now. The persistently evil will be gone. But the “bruised reed and smoldering wick” will “not be broken and not be snuffed out until He leads justice to victory.” Justice meaning what happens when God applies His grace to the willing... not meaning how our behavior would have gotten us judged by Old Testament norms.
Everyone’s out of kilter here because they do not UNDERSTAND Christ. I understand Christ a lot better now. He dug me out of sin that must have gone down to the Moho, it was so deep. I’m bragging on Christ now, and to everyone who will listen.
But also, the “catching up in the air” will precede. He isn’t judging anyone but those who are refuseniks to the end.
How about Communists in New York academica, media, and government? Are they still welcome?
The Democrats’ War on Children continues.
And anyhow. In the meantime. We’ve seen earthly faith revolutions in Christianity before. I am asserting that we have not seen the last of them, before the Judge indeed returns, having taken His Own up to heaven to make them safe. And the final ones will be more, and more, and more dramatic. Indeed the unsaved at the end won’t have even a semblance of an excuse because they will have seen it happening right under their noses.
While I appreciate many of your posts and insights, you do have a tendency to lecture others on what is and isn't Christian. It's actually quite snobbish and overbearing at times.
The main crux of my posts is that God does indeed still judge nations. When nations obey God and His word, He blesses, when they don't obey and recognize God and his word, He doesn't. Look what's happening to our nation currently. Also, I'm not denying the Love, Salvation, and Forgiveness of our Lord to lost sinners as you seem to be implying. I am saying, when a nation forgets God, there are indeed consequences. We are currently seeing what turning from god is costing our nation in terms of His blessings.
With all due respect, you would do well to look in the mirror and examine your heart for pride.
I boast of the grace of Christ and get called on the enemy of grace, which is pride?
I have far to go yet and maybe my manner might please you in the future a little better.
But in the meantime I think you should also hold that mirror facing your own self.
What do you want me to be like, the luke warm Christians you walk among?
I’m like the blind man who not just got back his sight, but can see further than the sighted!
And if you think we are that seriously losing blessings...
REALLY, you are dissing God.
We have but a malaise going on here compared to, say, Russia. God would like some gratitude!
The faith profile is still high enough here that God is holding off for the sake of the elect.
This is pure bunk. I don't know that the majority favor killing babies, but the plurality surely do. If something else was the case we would have far fewer self described baby killing Democrats in the neighborhood than pro life Republicans. We don't.
I no longer think even Catholic Bishops are pro life. If they were they would have stopped blocking for Democrats at least as far back as Roe v. Wade. The Catholic Church has been running interference for Democrats at least as far back as my seminary days in the mid-1960's.
If the Catholic Church is pro life, I want to hear it from the pulpit. I never have.
If the majority of Americans is pro life, I would like to see it at the ballot box. Otherwise, it's all just wishful thinking. It's boring wishful thinking.
You can take that to the bank.
If people cared enough about God again that they could tell even the ABORTIONISTS that God is offering them love (and, to be sure, wants them to help stop the killing)... then we’d see evil go kaput pretty blessed quickly!
It would be swamped out by love. TRUE love.
