Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel wants military leaders to inject more urgency into ensuring “moral character and moral courage” in a force suffering a rash of ethical lapses.

Hagel has been worried by a string of scandals that has produced a wave of unwelcome publicity for the military. But in light of new disclosures this week, including the announcement of alleged cheating among senior sailors in the nuclear Navy, Hagel on Wednesday demanded a fuller accounting of the depth of the problem.

Last month the Air Force revealed it was investigating widespread cheating on proficiency tests among nuclear missile launch officers in Montana, and numerous senior officers in all branches of the armed forces have been caught in embarrassing episodes of personal misbehavior, inside and outside the nuclear force. The Air Force also is pursuing a drug use investigation, and a massive bribery case in California has ensnared six Navy officers so far. …

Under the theory that ‘It takes one (deceiver) to know one”, Hagle just might finagle the whole fuzzy furball of truth for all to see.

Morals and ethics are trickle down principles when demanding them from groups of people.

What are morals and ethics in a secular, godless world where the commander in chief constantly lies to the public and most elected officials are corrupt?

The Leftists in charge of our military have been waging a War on Christians, but now they want to command “moral character” in the troops. Apparently, Obama really does think he has replaced God. He is wrong.

Ponder this - The generals who have been charged for sexual assault in the past year would have been entering the service during Klinton, so a BJ under the desk was not sex with that woman. On top of that a number of scandals for democrat insiders got pushed under the rug. Thus we have senior offices who gamed the systems like their civilian president and congress men. There is no way that both AR and NAVY nuke people charged with cheating did not have some “pentagon” assistance in getting around the rules. Finally, look at all the admirals who took money and hookers - gee does that sound like a former President?

Politicians first - if those who demand high moral character cannot maintain their own, who are they to make such demands. I say that we all go as lawless as those who claim to govern from their potty chairs on high and see how they like it in others...

Even before gay rights you would have ghetto support units which obviously promoted on arse preferences.

When the Pentagon asked the question on gays in the military but had made up its mind, I told them the military will be used for free medical care for gays and that Quid Pro Quo gay promotion would become the norm.

Soon after I had new guys come in my platoon bragging to me that if it got me a pilot job recommendation, I too would be giving blw jobs.

I left the military disgusted and frightened from a not recommended status to an absolute DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE FOR THE LOVE OF GD. They will betray their own positions to the enemy via hadji lovers brought within the wire and send heterosexual soldiers or spurning lovers they hate to their deaths

There is no question in my mind that the high suicide rate and attack rate on US soldiers in Afghanistan hushed by the media is directly attributable to a corrupt chain of command following the gay right quid pro quo mandate in the military.
