Don’t know about Sears or Radio Shack, but JC Penney is a big homo promoter, as are Best Buy and Target.

Is it my imagination or are these Anti-Traditional Value stores?Don't know. My neighbors work in these stores and when I go in to buy something they never say anything.

I think that’s a stretch. The civilians are plain tapped out and/or bunkering down.

I think it’s mostly a bad economy and the continued onslaught of online shopping.
If promoting/accepting homosexuality was a major negative factor, I’d think Apple/Amazon/Home Despot/Starbucks etc would be in the dumper.

Imagination
The decision results from decreased sales
That is also true for Penny’s where the ellen flap is not really a factor either

One thing that I have noticed about stores like Macy's is that they are severely understaffed and that my guess is that they really don't care if someone walks out with merchandise. Probably less expensive for them to take the losses than have the staff on.
