Any imagination could/can conjur up a mental picture of a 44 year old guy with a resume’ as sparse as given here, but I’m sure much fuller than what we read, and conclude this was not only murder, but a hit.
Withholding details is not uncommon..Believe it or not some whacckos give false confessions and it is one way to weed those people out.

It’s been in the news as a local mystery, but with very scant details. They have not even said how he was killed, and the news of his murder was not released for weeks after his death if I recall correctly. Some big mystery here for sure.
