At last, Washington has found a fight it does not want to have. When the Russian parliament authorized the deployment of military forces in Ukraine, sending black-clad gunmen into the former Soviet Republic, it might have been expected to touch off yet another battle between the White House and congressional Republicans....

The media is encouraging Republicans to stay quiet regarding Obama's disastrous foreign policy.

No one, as far as I know, has pointed out that Russia's move came within DAYS of Obama stooge Hagel proudly announced a slashing of our military to pre-World War II levels.

At last, Washington has found a fight it does not want to have.

All of a sudden, it's "Washington" that's the actor, the agent.

Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a Republican military veteran elected in the 2010 conservative wave election, said he did not expect Ukraine to become a flashpoint for conflict between the White House and the Hill.

“You’re going to find a House that’s very cooperative with the administration on this,” Kinzinger said on ABC’s “This Week".

Someone needs to tell Kinzinger to shut it. He cannot and should not defend the weakling Obama.

Obama’s word is worthless, and now the whole world see’s this. His place in history will include destroying the alliance of nations that has protected freedom since the 1940’s.

I think Putin’s declaration of Crimea as separate from Ukraine is pretty damn decisive.

It echoes Germany’s blitzkrieg into Poland. The Soviet’s annexation of the eastern half of Poland wasn’t contested then by the west either.

Our media’s attempt to shore up The First Black President of the United States is just demonstrating their complete and utter idiocy since they refuse to criticize Obama AS PRESIDENT.

This is a serious situation especially now that China has aligned with Russia. Who didn’t see that coming.

Out of their depth and over their head and any other cliche would apply to this administration and its minions.

There is not one country in Eastern Europe that has not seen repeated border shifts over the past centuries and right up until today.

Gee, where's Ukraine?
Gee, where's your home?

Putin’s July 4th Message
July 6, 2012
Two Russian strategic nuclear bombers entered the U.S. air defense zone near the Pacific coast on Wednesday and were met by U.S. interceptor jets, defense officials told the Free Beacon.

It was the second time Moscow dispatched nuclear-capable bombers into the 200-mile zone surrounding U.S. territory in the past two weeks.

Where is the Ukrainian map with the pipelines owned by gazprom and the millions of acres under contract with Exxon and Chevron for gas production? Where are the lists of american NGO’s that received 5 billion dollars to destabilize ukraine? Where is the list of the identities of the american snipers in the euromaidan insurrection? Lots of Euro and US help on the square in Kiev. Too bad the state department can’t tell the truth for fear of showing their bloody hands.

Looking at your map, the Poles are nervous. Putin’s main guy Stalin thought he had a piece of that. I doubt Obama would disagree if push came to shove.

Are you aware that Crimea was part of Russia for over 200 years, until Nikita Khrushchev literally gifted it to Ukraine in 1954 in order to gain the support of their party bosses during his accession after the death of Stalin?

Before Russia, it belonged to the Ottoman Empire, now defunct. Before that, it belonged to the city-state of Venice, going back to before Columbus discovered America. But it was NEVER part of Ukraine, until Khrushchev’s “gift.”

Imagine if President Eisenhower, as a dictator on his own, gave Long Island and NYC to Connecticut as part of a in internal United States political deal to secure CT’s support.

In 1954, the political gift was an internal USSR matter, not an international matter. In 1991, the USSR broke apart, and Khrushchev’s gift suddenly mattered. But despite the gift and the fluke that led Crimea to become part of the modern sovereign nation of Ukraine, Crimea has always been 90% ethnic Russian, and it contains Russia’s most vital naval bases and sea ports.

In fact, Crimea is far more Russian than Hawaii is American. It’s foolish and naïve to believe that the Russian’s will risk losing the Crimea during a period of chaos in Ukraine.

There was an Obama Admin trial balloon yesterday to suggest this is really isn’t a big deal. Just Russian exerting justifiable influence in its Russian speaking sphere. The hate American crowd wants to get back to destroying the US and doesn’t need this distraction. So we will see all kinds of crazy assertions in the days to come from them.
