The Michigan gay marriage ban is in place for now after a judge granted a stay.

The judge who dictated that the ban had to go was a Reagan appointee.

It’s not really a ‘win’ when the ref unilaterally declares one team to be in forfeit.

"State officials earlier refused to defend Oregon's voter-approved ban and said they wouldn't appeal.

The National Organization for Marriage sought to intervene, but both U.S. District Judge Michael McShane in Eugene and a federal appeals court rejected its attempts to argue in favor of the ban."

The people, voting, law, has all been overcome and removed.

It was a Reagan appointee who struck it down in Michigan.

It should be pointed out that there was a lot of emotional manipulation on the part of a lesbian staffer in that case. Her kids call him grandpa, they went to lunch with him and were in the courtroom on the day of the arguments.

As I predicted, the Ark SC stayed the same type of decision by some putz circuit judge.

I don’t think the OR SC will do the same. I doubt their judges care about the law.
