Latest reports I’m seeing are that one of the cops survived long enough to return fire. Who knows what to believe at this point, though.

I heard a rumor about that, but have not seen sufficient confirmation yet to feel confident.

They also have now announced that the police were in a firefight with the couple before the couple killed themselves.

I read earlier that the woman killed the man, and then killed herself, so it was more of a murder-suicide, although the “story” is that they actually told someone in Walmart that they were going to commit suicide.

We’ll obviously know more tomorrow.
