Former presidential nominee Mitt Romney (R) is endorsing businessman Dave Trott (R) in his primary against Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich.), the latest big-name Republican to weigh in on Trott's behalf.
"As someone who grew up in Michigan and has family currently living in the 11th District, I am confident that Dave Trott has the honesty, integrity and experience we need in Washington," Romney said in a statement released by Trott's campaign. "As a job-creator, Dave Trott knows how to balance budgets, cut spending, and fix the mess in Washington. I am proud to endorse Dave Trott for Congress."
is romney a dope or what ?
does he really believe he is a power broker or that anyone really gives a crap what he thinks or who he endorses ?
The only way Romney helps is if low information voters still think he is against amnesty.
Mittens—just go away and be quiet!!
Since he returned to the republican party in October 1993, Romney has a single election victory to show for his 20 years of campaigning and vast expenditures.
A single term as a failed Governor who left with 34% approval, and had to give up his plan for reelection, and gave the seat to the democrats.
So a single term in office which was a failure, and he is the party’s “statesman”.
How they do this to us, I don’t know, but it is the combined power of the media and the GOPe.
Those of us who reside in Michigan, will be working very hard to keep our conservative Reps and to elect a Republican Senator.
Yeah—but I want to know who’s the RINO.
If Romney endorses him I am immediately suspicious of him. Is he a conservative or another empty suit to do as he is instructed by Boehnor et al?
Dave Trott suddenly had an immigration stance after Cantor lost and Kerry has spent 18 months bashing Immigration Reform.
