Border Patrol Tells Agent: ‘You Must Cease and Desist’ from Speaking with Media
National Review thru Drudge ^ | July 8, 2014 | Ryan Lovelace

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency has served one of its agents with a letter saying “you must immediately cease and desist” from issuing statements and press releases to the media with information that is “Law Enforcement sensitive,” according to the document, obtained by National Review Online.

Kathleen Scudder, assistant chief patrol agent of the San Diego Sector, sent the letter to agent Ron Zermeno, health and safety director of National Border Patrol Council Local 1613, notifying him of an investigation into his conduct and to “remind” him that no agent should make statements or issue press releases “without proper authorization.”

So it’s now the official policy of the Border Patrol to obscure the truth, presumably under threat of being fired. The problem they have at the border isn’t the flood of illegals. No, no. The problem is people finding out about it.

What a disgrace.

Kathleen Scudder, assistant chief patrol agent of the San Diego Sector, should be indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

All she needed to do is end the letter “off wi8th his head!” Good God, I’m sick of these arrogant SOBs who don’t seem to remember that this is supposed to be America. These people are better suited to the third world, and I’m not talking about the illegal, I’m talking about the people who issued those orders.

Kathleen.... you work for We The People. Your employees work for We The People. There is absolutely nothing that you should be concealing from We The People, unless you are under orders to lie to the highest order of Government.... (That would be We The People, you knucklehead!)

The fedgov operation to distribute invaders throughout the interior must be conducted in secret.

A large group of agents should start flapping their gume. They can’t fire all of them.

OH MY!

Do I sense a little friction between the Obama Administration and a public employee’s union.

And by the way I believe that Mr. Zermeno was making his press release as a Union Official not as a boarder agent.

Sure they can. They’d do it and cite Ronald Reagan and the air traffic controllers as their example. The media will explain why the Dems are doing the right thing, the republicans will stamp their feet and do nothing while Mar levin and rush limbaughs heads explode.

Stunning: California Couple Says They Were Asked to House Immigrant Children

RUSH: Just fine. Thank you very much.

ANN: Great. Well, we have some interesting news. My husband Eddie is on the phone with us. We live in Southern California, and we’re Catholic, active Catholics in our community, and there was a town hall meeting last evening, emergency meeting called by our local parish priest, ordered by our bishop (unintelligible) and the Archdiocese of San Bernardino. They have made the decision that they’re going to absorb the immigrants that are coming through because the federal government called the bishop’s office on Monday and they’re gonna be busing these immigrants to our communities and asking us to open our homes and to house them for up to a month. The church will reimburse us for any out-of-pocket expenses and we were told not to talk to anybody about it, especially the media.

Why are we giving these people taxpayer money. They have failed miserably in securing the border. Now they are ordering people not to let the American people know the truth.

Cut off all funding for these people. Fire them. Bring in someone that can do the job.

Investigate and imprison those guilty of of corruption and criminal activity.

As long as he doesn’t identify, or represent himself as a spokesperson for the department, or make his comments while he’s on the clock, he has every right to say what he wants. The President and the Federal Government have created an unsafe work environment for these officers, and they have every right to complain about it. The union should be up in arms over what’s going on. The Feds don’t want their dirty laundry aired, and the only way they know to stop it is to threaten the people speaking out. Of course, those that do speak to the media will have to walk on eggshells while at work, because the Feds will use any excuse to retaliate against them. I know of what I speak.

Obama, Reid, Pelosi and a complicit media would make illegal baby dirty diapers the Republican/Bush/Palin fault.
