A plaque marking the 1918 birthplace of former Israeli President Chaim Herzog in Belfast was removed earlier this week, out of fears of further anti-Semitic violence in the Northern Ireland city.
The blue plaque honoring Herzog, who was President of Israel from 1983 to 1993, was first erected on a property at Cliftonpark Avenue in 1998.
The 16-year landmark was torn down, however, due to concern for Jews living in the area. Democratic Unionist Party Councillor Brian Kingston explained the decision to the Belfast Telegraph.
"Attacks have included the scrawling of anti-Israeli graffiti on the building and items being thrown at the plaque and the house," Kingston said. "Recently some youths were stopped in the process of trying to remove the plaque with a crowbar."
"Out of concern for staff and for residents living in neighboring houses, the community group and the Ulster History Circle have decided that it was best to remove the plaque for the foreseeable future, and it was removed at the end of last week."

I saw no mention in the article that the anti-semites were Muslim. Where did you get that?
Post WWII only suppressed the antisemitism and has lived on underground for awhile(even here in the USA). Islam is the conduit which brought it bubbling back to the surface in Europe. In this case Islam serves as a proxy for what was originally. I will never defend Islam, as I am not now.
Anti Jewish sentiment has always been in Western Europe for a very long long time it only needed a proxy by which to do the dirty work and allow it to become mainstream once again. Such as the squatters on Jewish land which are the so-called “palestinians”..

I hope this means that they will stop with the marching as some sign of toughness and defiance until they can show some stones elsewhere.
In my mind things like this should be used as a honeypot, specifically to weed out and remove scum from society. Put the thing back and install trap doors around it, or some variation thereof.

Irish Senator Norris actually wanted the Israeli ambassador expelled from Ireland.
What is this glamour that is put over these people who support Hamas, Palestinians, and others that support Jewish/Israeli genocide? I really don’t understand it. The facts are so condemning. They can’t all be doing this as a pre-emptive strike so they won’t be targeted next? At least they could be quiet. Why this outward show of anti-Semitism when they is NO threats at all.
Unfortunately there are other countries in Europe that are even further down the path of dhimmitude.
Given that the Muslim population of Belfast is negligible and that the Irish Nationalist/Republicans have always identified with the Palestinian cause (and were armed and trained by them and by Colonel Ghaddaffi) whereas the protestants back Israel I would go for native, white Irish Catholics as being behind these attacks. This is one you can’t blame on the Muslims.
