While everyone is focusing on what Obama will do with his upcoming illegal alien executive order, the rest of his administration is quietly working behind the scenes to enact amnesty through a piecemeal approach.
Now, we have learned that the Department of Justice is actively targeting businesses and punishing them for trying to verify an employees residency status!
Thats right, the DOJ has fined Culinaire International a restaurant-management company more than $20,000 because the business had the gall to ask employees to provide proof of legal residency in the United States!
In this case, this company sought to confirm the identity and residency status of one of its employees. The employee in question showed up with two documents: an expired permanent residency card and an up-to-date permanent worker card. The business thought this was fishy, so it required the employee to produce another document definitively proving citizenship or permanent residency.
This makes complete sense. Any business owner would agree with this decision. The DOJ apparently didnt.
According to Eric Holders Justice Department, this company engaged in citizenship-discrimination when it asked applicants and employees to prove their citizenship and/or legal residency.
Employers cannot discriminate against workers by requiring them to produce more documents than necessary in the employment eligibility verification and re-verification processes, says Molly Moran, the Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights division.
Yes, this is the same DOJ Civil Rights Division that was reprimanded by a New Orleans Judge for prosecutorial misconduct in its attempt to convict a New Orleans Police Officer of civil rights violations. This Civil Rights Unit was caught red-handed anonymously using social media to circumvent ethical obligations, professional responsibilities, and even to commit violations of the Code of Federal Regulations.

I thought the employer was required to verify, I remember having to show my “pae puss” when hired on by the State for a short period of time
There MUST be some recourse in dealing with such a criminal DOJ.
Talk about the horns of dilemma - the business was merely attempting to adhere to the requirements of the I-9 process. If they had let the expired document stand unchallenged and been audited, they would have been hung out to dry.
Just paving the way for his post presidency employment options while he can.

Employers are REQUIRED to fill out “Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 - USCIS”
Every new hire is supposed to fill out an I9 but you can’t tell them what documents to use from the list. If a document was expired you could ask for another one as long as you didn’t say which one.

I doubt there’s one person in this administration who has ever done a single day of actual productive work.
A future of golfing, million-dollar speaking engagements and perhaps the Secretary Generalship of the U.N. awaits our Dear Leader when his term ends, but certainly not a real job.

It’s what these thugs have been after all along, and they’ve achieved it well beyond what the “cool people” were telling us “wingnuts” was ever possibly possible in this nation, when we warned from the very start that all this would follow from acting like Obama’s ineligibility was just an “embarrassment”.
It’s a good thing “conservatives” aren’t “embarrassed” now, isn’t it? Just imagine how terrible the country would be if conservatives were blushing now, standing up for the rule of law.

The Obama DOJ is punishing businesses for simply trying to confirm that employees are not illegal aliens not that they are citizens.
Obama has been feeding the caliphate islamic alligator for a while now, thinking it won’t eat him. He is dead wrong. I would look for the Arab world to treat Obama just like any other deposed ruler at the end of his term. In Islam it doesn’t end well.
