Demonstrators chanting, "Black lives matter," converged in the Mall of America rotunda Saturday as part of a protest of police brutality that caused at least part of the mall to shut down on a busy day for holiday shoppers.
The group Black Lives Matter Minneapolis had more than 3,000 people confirm on Facebook that they would attend. Official attendance figures weren't immediately available, but organizer Mica Grimm says she believes about 3,000 took part.

I’m 10 minutes away. I would have been thrilled to bring the zip ties.
The Mall of America is a sight to see, but I couldn’t imagine going there regularly; any mall so accessible by mass transit would be an absolute zoo here in NJ.
It is served by bus lines and light rail. The inner city yutes jump on the light rail without ever purchasing a ticket and head for the MOA.
They hang out all day, buying and selling drugs. When they get bored, they intimidate shoppers.
Security spends all their time looking for people like me. White people carrying with a permit.
Yes, I notice that; far too accessible by people with no money or intention of buying anything.
When the feral animals killed someone at the Short Hills mall in NJ around Christmas a while back, they were caught because one of them had borrowed his mother’s car to get them there.
Without that, the victim could have spent his whole life without ever rubbing elbows with such trash.

The arrest total is up to a whopping 25.
I don’t expect any arrests at all anymore unless someone strikes a cop; otherwise the case probably gets tossed, while the cops risk their livelihoods and possibly their freedom.
This is in a LIB/DIM state that reelected the comedian/ senator franken and moozlum ellison (among others). They deserve what they get. losers inconveniencing losers. Meh.
A friend familiar with the recent history described what had happened in Minnesota; apparently as other states in the region tightened their welfare programs Minnesota was hesitant to do so, and as a result gibsmedats flocked to it.
Having only visited once, I was creeped out by the Somalis there; completely segregated, but still nearby - and apparently making no attempt to assimilate.
