John Boehner Just Got Some Very Bad News … But You’re Going to Love it

A grassroots campaign has been initiated to fire John Boehner as speaker of the House of Representatives. While it is being downplayed by the liberal mainstream media, it is no podunk effort.

The “Don’t be Yellow: Dump Boehner Now Campaign” was started by the CEO of WND, Joseph Farah. In just one week, 400,000 letters have been sent to Republican representatives prior to the start of the new legislative session. According to the Conservative Tribune, the letters are urging GOP members to replace Boehner with a more conservative alternative.

“While the news cycle has forgotten about Boehner’s betrayal of Republican voters in November, the grass-roots electorate has not,” Farah said. Clearly, as they have sent a stack of letters over 13 stories high to the House. Hopefully, that will be more than enough to garner the 30 Republican votes it would take to initiate a search for Boehner’s replacement.

Share this report if you think it’s time to ditch John Boehner!

If the GOP wants to win elections going forward, the likes of Boehner and McConnell have to go.

I'm not talking necessarily out of office. For now, out of leadership positions.

The electorate is craving something different than the Romney/Bush/Clinton/Obama style of governance

Yup. And so do the abject morons here and elsewhere that keep making excuses and electing them. Actually, Hardcore liberals. Because only a hard lib would know what those two have done and still encourage anyone OTHER than a liberal to reelect/empower them

4000 letters ain’t squat. I think I just read that there are 35,000 registered political lobbyists in DC. They are taking your representatives to lunch and handing them $400,000 to ignore your letters.

I’m glad they’re using the “betrayal” word.

This needs to be stated repeatedly.

I thought the bad news for him is that there might be a shortage of Kleenex.

The new Congressmen all know by now that their future wealth will be much diminished if they seriously buck the established system. Get rich and stay rich even if not re-elected or stand on principle and have the Big Money pouring in against you in your next primary while your wealth will depend entirely on your salary and your own investments which will be the subject of scandal and opprobrium. That is the choice.

..."not talking necessarily out of office..."

I suspect if you took Boehner's seat away from him he would FLY to the left at the speed of sound, he would become the poster boy for alligator tears and whiny noises.

I meant to quote the number. Still, 400,000 isn’t squat. Hell, 40,000,000,000 isn’t squat.

For every letter your write, it isn’t read, and a lobbyist pays your rep to ignore the letter. Money talks in DC, not letters.

Why would you want another amnesty lover, friend of Linda Grahamnesty to take Boehner’s place?

I think that's about right.

In the larger context of the good of the country, the old guard of BOTH PARTIES needs to be exorcized.

There may be an odd twist to this. The job of Speaker does not have to be held by a congressman. So imagine that even if the conservatives might not be able to make one of their sitting members of congress the Speaker, they might be able to persuade the rest of the Republican conference to accept a non-member.

Such as Allen West. He is very conservative, knows how congress works, is very disciplined and has strong core values. He is also popular with the conference.
