Time for leadership to rise up and put down the insurrection. This has got to stop. We can not and will not live like this.
I say let them protest and shut down all of the places they want. Citizens of NY are getting annoyed and that really hurts the cause. They are beginning to look like freaks and will be remembered as such.
The money that drives politics in New York City doesn't care very much about the assassination of a couple of cops in Brooklyn, but you can be sure that Bill DeBlasio's phone rings off the hook when these mutants disrupt commerce in the high-rent districts of Manhattan.
Time for leadership to rise up and put down the insurrection.

I am afraid our leadership, especially in New York and on the national level are pretty happy with what is happening. Who is fomenting these “peaceful” riots? Start with the pResident’s personal representative to the black community, AL SHARPTON. Add in the Obama Just-us Dept and the various governors and mayors and you have the beginning of a race war sanctioned by their leaders.
Is history repeating itself?
You realize you sound fascist, almost hitlerish?
I am sorry the officers died. But they died by a crazy person. Protesting is legal. This is the same argument you get with gun control. One issue and no one should have guns.
And make no mistake, there is a lot of corruption in the NYPD. I had an issue when I asked an officer name after I got pulled over for a seat belt ticket (I had my seat belt on). I got threatened with a misdemeanor for asking his name. I filed an internal affairs complaint. They call me New Year’s Eve at 1130 pm and 6am New Year’s Day. I got back 3 days later and they told me the case was closed since I didn’t call them back sooner...
The leadership is the insurrection
It is the leadership that must be ended. The situation is not yet grim enough for that to happen
LOOK, LOOK! The cop in front is bashing a protester already down!
Exactly! This is NOT about peaceful assembly for redress of grievances, it’s a threat to public safety , emergency vehicles having to be re-routed, possibly costing lives...and it constitutes theft from merchants who are unable to do business. If I were planning to visit NYC, I’d CANCEL!
