Hello all. Sitting here at home and wondering if anyone else out there is spending this evening alone.
On this night of all nights when families gather and friends share gifts and time, some of us are, for various reasons, spending Christmas Eve solo.
Not necessarily a bad thing - alone doesn't always mean lonely. But, it does mean alone.
Check in if that includes any of you, my fellow Freepers.

I’m going to church tonight.
Pretty much alone, except for a yorkie on my lap and one cat on the coffee table and one on the arm of the couch ;)
Me and “logitech” are here together, though not alone. We’re broke, and he’s on call 24-7 with his job. So, Christmas is the precious time it is, because of Jesus. But, otherwise, nothing’s going on. :-)
I was out to the old hometown for dinner with my sister and her kids earlier. Now its just the dogs and I and all is well.
No other human in the house, but me. My husband had to work.
My four dogs are keeping me company.

Yep, kind of enjoying it but I don’t want to make a habit of it.
Flying solo tonight as well.
Family is 800 miles away and I can’t make it home. So I am going to sit here, watch some movies and reload some ammo.

Sounds like wonderful companionship to me.
Am doing Netflix, since there isn’t much on TV tonight.
Was with relatives earlier in the day and again tomorrow.
I’m working.
I noticed some bars open downtown.
But my wife and kids are here so I can’t go.
