Never one to shy away from the social media spotlight, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently took to Twitter to bash the United States for alleged racial injustices, using popular hashtags like #Ferguson and #BlackLivesMatter to draw parallels to Jesus and the unrest in Gaza.
“#Jesus endured sufferings to oppose tyrants who had put humans in hell in this world& the hereafter while he backed the oppressed. #Ferguson,” Iran’s chief political and religious authority tweeted to his 92,000 followers on Sunday, CNN reported.
Mr. Khamenei went on to compare Jesus’ struggle to that of black people in the United States.
“It’s expected that followers of #Jesus follow him in his fight against arrogants and in his support for the oppressed. #BlackLivesMatter,” he wrote.

How many blacks live in Iran, and how many are citizens?
What is the Iran immigration policy when it comes to Africans seeking asylum or work in Iran?
I bet that the Iran immigration laws are very strict when it comes to allowing African asylum seekers and other Africans into Iran.
