Ron Paul has not studied Islamic history. Ask any historian from India about Islam. Muslims invaded India some 1300 years ago. So there is a lot of history there. Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat the consequences.

Yeah, it's always that. "In the broad perspective," "Taking everything into account," "For the greater good," "With regard to a higher truth". Paul and his son can make sense on some topics.
But when it comes to national defense and foreign relations,
we could never trust them... and obviously still cannot. I tried to warm to his son for awhile but that fell apart when the boy made some remarks that raised serious question that maybe he is quite like his Dad on defense matters.

It is, IMHO, a shame that smart fellows have such a blind spot on the most important duties of WashDC leadership positions. The Pauls get Zero Votes here!
