Both blamed congressional infighting for the shortfalls.

For all we know, the military has already defied Obama. In April of '09, first with the Navy SEAL rescue of Captain Phillips, and then with the odd "photo-op" flyby of New York City on a Tuesday morning in Air Force One a few weeks later.
It's a matter of who has whom by what cajones.

Amen. Reading average Joe American comments on mainstream media sites, he is not only deeply unpopular, he is loathed, despised, scorned.
But as Dr. Thorne says, we have a controlled media, so we think "everybody but us" loves him -- "we" (ha ha) elected him, didn't we?

Indeed, it is deliberate sabotage. Good NIGHT!!! Fifty years from now, they'll be looking at this era shaking their heads at our naïve acceptance of forcing the military to have women serving on submarines! HELLO????
Covert sabotage is one thing. But this isn't even covert -- it's overt as hell! It is pure and simple sabotage so a real enemy will have an advantage.

The number one priority of the military is SHARP (Sexual Harassment and Assault Reporting) not breaking things and killing the enemy. You cannot get away from that. When you take a leaking the john there are SHARP posters in front of the urinals. SHARP is everywhere.
Men and women are all fed up with that crap.
I wonder why they are going overboard on this. There has to be an ulterior motive since everything this administration does is suspect.
As a Marine mom I was worried about the hazing, which did not occur, but I did get angry about hearing of those who went to war without all their training (very few). I am a Nam era Gold Star sister so that was my priority. If they are spending precious dollars on this instead of combat training and supplies, someone in the pentagon is making that decision.
I am wondering now if in fact it will have the opposite effect with reporting because of the backlash. I’ll have to check and see if there are studies out.
SHARP was not a priority a few years ago. Since the end of DADT there has been a big push. The training even claims that all the male on male rapes are committed by normal men who are doing it.
They haven’t came right out and said it in any briefings but they have been hinting that homosexuals are normal families too.
The normal part is the problem. Making all immorality normal is the goal and has been since the first bite of the apple. It is actually based on hatred of humanity. That hatred oozes in all that they do and say. Like a religion we know that is not based on love, truth, and justice, the actions speak louder than their words.
