The chairman of a special House committee created to investigate the 2012 Benghazi tragedy on Monday instructed his staff to review secretly recorded tapes and intelligence reports that detail Hillary Rodham Clinton’s role in advocating and executing the war in Libya, opening the door for a possible expansion of his probe.
Rep. Trey Gowdy’s decision to seek a review of the materials, first highlighted in a series of Washington Times stories last week, carries consequences for the 2016 election in which Mrs. Clinton is expected to seek the presidency. It could also move the committee to examine the strained relationship between the State Department and Pentagon, which sharply disagreed over the 2011 war in Libya and the response to the terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi a year later.
The Times reported last week that U.S. intelligence did not support Mrs. Clinton’s story of an impending genocide in Libya that she used to sell the war against Moammar Gadhafi’s regime. The newspaper also unveiled secretly recorded tapes from Libya that showed that the Pentagon and Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich so distrusted her stewardship of the war that they opened their own diplomatic channels with the Gadhafi regime.
The tapes included candid conversations and allegations that Mrs. Clinton took the U.S. to war on false pretenses and was not listening to the advice of military commanders or career intelligence officers.
“Chairman Gowdy and the committee are aware of the details reported by The Washington Times, and we are reviewing them as part of the committee’s inquiry into Benghazi,” Benghazi Committee spokesman Jamal Ware announced Monday.
The emergence of the tapes and a new line of inquiry immediately had repercussions, especially on the political front where the 2016 president race has heated up.

We’ve debated why the Libyans hit us at Benghazi since Benghazi happened. Why did they?
If we had been supporting them to take power in Libya, why would they turn around and attack our Ambassador? They are that stupid that they bite the hand that fed them?
They attacked because they realized that they were played. Qadaffi’s fortune did not go to the Libyan people. Hillary, Obama and Soros grabbed Qadaffi’s fortune. That’s why Hillary has to have so many bodyguards. The Libyans are after her.
Hillary had the government of Libya overthrown and Qadaffi murdered so she could grab his fortune.

It certainly looks like Hillary Clinton listened not to U.S. intelligence, but to Huma Abedin, her closest aid and advisor, back to the time the Clintons were in the White House. Huma Abedin was a White House aide assigned to Hillary Clinton. Huma Abedin’s Saudi parents were top echelon Muslim Brotherhood strategists. Her mother still is and Huma and her brother are in the U.S. to infiltrate government and influence foreign policy in favor of the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood - that is worldwide Caliphate under Muslim rule. Evidence shows that Huma was on the payroll of the Muslim Brotherhood propagandists to spread propaganda even as she help her position with Hillary in the State Department. This is treasonous on the part of Hillary, not to mention Huma.
Hillary still has this person, Huma Abedin, on as top staff in her campaign organization trying to get Hillary to be president. That her own family and the Clintons (Bill officiated) would have contrived to marry her to New York’s then national political rising star, Anthony Weiner, with her family agreeing, is just one of the seemingly bizarre aspects of Huma’s life “of glamour.”
Huma, starting early, put herself/was put into the laps of the very seats of national executive and legislative power. The Muslim Brotherhood is not a friend of the U.S. and does not want her to make the right choices on foreign policy. Hillary’s choices reflected just that approach in making the important foreign policy decisions.
She had to have him killed, because as long as he was alive he was in control of the Libyan National Bank.
Remember this.... the first thing the 'rebels' (who supposedly overthrew Ghaddafi) did BEFORE FORMING A NEW GOVERNMENT, was to FORM A NEW BANK.
If she has files on all these people, it’s time for them to forge ahead and finally put her away once and for all. At that time, she can no longer threaten them. Same for Obama.
Look up “Responsibility To Protect”. That is the concept used by Hillary and Obama to attack Libya and murder Qadaffi. And who was it that came up with that concept?
Soros. The great humanitarian. You know, the one who turned Jews over to the Nazis. That humanitarian.
You may be right, but she has one heck of an ego and her inner circle of toadies have probably just as big if not bigger egos. They will continue to encourage if not cajole her to run. If she doesn’t, they don’t become ambassadors,
secretaries, deputy secretaries, or assistant secretaries of some department.
At this point I think she is still running.
The MSM, the entire Democratic political apparatus, and so forth have a vested interest in her. No other candidate can raise money like her.

I know what you mean. We have had so much tough talk followed by inaction when it comes to bringing the America-hating left to justice.
