According to a media report out of New Jersey, a third doctor–the others are Shewmon and Calixto–has signed a declaration stating Jahi McMath is not brain dead. The family attorney Chris Dolan says he will petition the California Secretary of State to rescind the death certificate. From the N.J.com story:
Dolan provided NJ Advance Media with signed declarations from four doctors, including Charles J. Prestigiacomo, director of Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery at University Hospital in Newark and chair of the neurological surgery department at Rutgers, stating that McMath isn’t brain dead.
“The brain structure evidenced in the MRI is not consistent with an MRI of a patient that has been brain dead over nine months,” Prestigiacomo wrote in his declaration after reviewing tests on McMath conducted at University Hospital. He added that McMath has a “very significant brain injury but she doesn’t meet the criteria for brain dead.”
If the description of Prestigiacomo’s declaration is accurate–I haven’t seen it–that is more than enough to reopen the case.
Attorney Dolan says that if the Secretary doesn’t give relief, he will sue.
But why should that be necessary? Given the declarations by three reputable brain specialist doctors and others, at the very least the Secretary should conduct a thorough investigation, including a full medical reassessment.
Jahi is owed that.
The integrity of the system demands it.
And if the unprecedented has happened–that a declared brain dead person ceased being brain dead–finding out what happened and why is absolutely in the interests of science.
And for those screaming NO–I know you’re there, I can hear you fuming–what in the world would be harmed by taking another detailed look? Or are you so locked in to this poor girl being dead you don’t care if she really is?

You claim to have seen photos of Jahi, yet the family hasn't released any (other than a few YouTube videos where most of her body is covered), this leaves only three possibilities:
1. You were shown pictures of a black girl laying in a bed who is comatose and bloated and just believed it was Jahi.
2. Someone ILLEGALLY took pictures of Jahi and YOU are in violation of all sorts of privacy laws for having those pictures.
3. You are just a LIAR and are making a false claim to further your agenda.
Which is it?
You have also claimed that Jahi is "decomposing" and that nurses have quit because of this. Odd that NOBODY has made this claim, not even the hospital which wants to kill her. Again, unless you have actual proof of this, YOU ARE A LIAR.
Furthermore, you have refused to even acknowledge the fact that a professor emeritus in neurology from UCLA has stated that that she is not "brain dead" and isn't even comatose. She has a severe brain injury, but this isn't a death sentence.

1. She can move her feet when asked -- impossible if someone is "brain dead"
2. Menarche occurred in her condition -- sexual maturation doesn't continue if someone is "brain dead"
3. The structure of her brain, in particular her cerebral cortex hasn't liquefied after a year -- impossible in someone who is "brain dead"

The little girl’s body is decomposing which means she is dead. Dead people do respond to stimuli beacause of nerves but she is not alive.

All of these points were made by Dr. Alan Shewmon who, unlike Dr. Heidi Flori, is actually a neurologist who has been involved with the determination of "brain death" for decades. You REFUSE to address his statements which makes it clear to me that you are a troll pushing a pro-death agenda.

Yes. Even though nurses do their best to keep those in their care clean, there is simply no substitute for bathing in water with soap.
The doctors her mother picked to confirm she is not dead are quacks. Some of them have not even seen her.
Her feet are responding to stimuli due to the Lazarus effect that occurs in dead people all the time. The fact that you cannot see the obvious decomposition makes you an ignoramus.
