In any case, how can an American president be taken seriously when he warns travelers against visiting Israel whose airline, El Al, has a better safety record than America’s airlines, and whose cities have never suffered major terrorist attacks like 9/11’s destruction of the World Trade Center and attack on the Pentagon?
As far as Obama’s attempts to frighten Americans into spending their tourist dollars elsewhere than in Israel is concerned, the continuing influx into Israel of thousands of European Jews fleeing anti-Semitism with their bank accounts being deposited in Israel’s banks should more than make up for any loss of American tourist dollars.
Is this where we say that Romney and Obama are exactly the same and things would be just as bad had Obama lost the Election?
