The White House did not invite the most senior American official charged with preventing terrorist attacks — the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey — to the three-day conference this week on countering violent extremism in the United States and abroad because the administration did not want the event too focused on law enforcement issues, according to senior American officials.
But Mr. Comey’s Russian counterpart — Aleksandr V. Bortnikov, the director of the Russian Federal Security Service, the post-Soviet K.G.B. — was at the meeting, even though international human rights groups have repeatedly accused the Russian security service of unjustly detaining and spying on Russians and others.

WH may be afraid that FBI Chief may finger some of the attendees as supporters of “violent extremism” and others of “Islamic terrorism”.
The FBI and CIA should be watching all activity of Obama and his Admin
Not even gonna say what I’m thinking, because I’d probably get arrested, or fall under more scrutiny than I’d be comfortable with. (though I do NOTHING illegal - I don’t think) LOL
We literally have anti-American entities at the highest places within our government and country as a whole. There needs to be a purge. This isn’t exclusive to Democrats either.

Stand on your 1st Amendment rights , friend , while they still exist . As long as that which you say/write is not physically threatening to any individual , especially fellow U.S. citizens , then you should be OK . Many lawyers are standing by to represent and fight for any accused under 1st Amendment violating principles , pro bono . Get to know one ! ( or 2 or 3 )

Comey is not as competent as one would think, esp. based on his statements when he took office. He might be a little better than Louis Freh, who also said something terribly upsetting when he, too, took office (praising one of his law professors at Rutgers Law School, Communist Party/Soviet asset Arthur Kinoy, a man devoted to the destruction of the Constitution, not to the protection of it).
We haven’t had a really sharp FBI director since Hoover (like the guy or not). He knew who the enemy was and set out to contain and if possible, destroy them.
Today’s directors are not even up for full containment. But compared to the directors of the Dept. of Homeland Security (Napolitano the Fool and Jeh Johnson, the Affirmative Action flunkout, they are geniuses).
Houston, we have a shitload of problems. We have met the enemy and he is us.

I'm confused. Isn't Barry the one who turns all 'terrorism' trials into law enforcement or mere 'criminal' matters? Team Barry's reasoning is INVALID, even though they feel they are the masters of excuses.
