Right.

What idiot, in a case like this, announces what they are going to do, before they do it?

(OK, besides Obama)

Maybe she can offer the terror leader a job. Isn’t that what all terrorists need?

Well, he deserves a lot of credit for doing what no one else seems willing to do. More power to him.

Boko did hit and kill some civilians today; but the tide has definitely turned against them. Good for Chad. Incompetent corrupt Nigerian army was nearly impotent.

How is it that the French army is pretty sharp in Africa but wimps out in the home country?

The point is intimidation, just kill him and his allies will say they got lucky. Say you’re going to kill him and then doing so will hurt their moral.

Chad gave Qaddafi armed with the latest in Soviet equipment a kick in the arse when he tried to take over Chad. That was the war that made the Toyota pickup a top of line fighting vehicle.

The French had two horrible episodes during the Franco-Prussian war and WW II where their generals got absolutely outsmarted by the Germans. For some reason despite centuries of martial prowess the term “surrender monkeys” has stuck to them.
