This is first and foremost a CYA trying to make it appear as if Obama didn’t have the slightest idea what Hillary was doing all the while Hillary was running a “shadow” govt undermining Obama.
I’ve even seen the talking point being floated that because of the date the email server was set up Bush was working with Hillary.
I think it's more likely the DNCe knows she is a bad candidate, actually a horrible candidate.
They seem to be trying to take her out, but it's not because they need a more progressive one, Hillary is not really to the right of Warren, she's a perfect DNC totalitarian leftist.
She's just old looking, sounds awful when she raises her voice, and has too much baggage. Unelectable in 2008, far worse in 2016.
They want to find someone new who they can pretend is a "new and moderate democrat". As if there is such a thing.......
