The conceit of the Hollyweird set ( many of whom of course are homosexuals) is that average Americans, including flyover country people, will watch these shows and think to themselves "hmmmm...these homos sure are like us...hey Marge, after we go down to the art gallery, eat at the ethnic restaurant, let's have ourselves some good old low down action...how about it?"

The plain facts are most Americans will never get past the ick factor. Most people avoid trying to think about what homos do in the bedroom. They don't want to lose their lunch.
