Marco Rubio supports Corker's dangerous Obama nuclear weapons treaty with Iran
ConservativeHQ ^ | 4/16/15 | George Rasley

Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s just-announced presidential campaign was in large measure base on three pillars; his compelling immigrant family story, his claim on conservative support as one of the 2010 Tea Party wave election’s brightest stars and his commitment of righting the foreign policy failures and world chaos wrought by President Obama and his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Yet, in his first post announcement test – the vote on the dangerous Iran nuclear weapons treaty bill put forward by Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker – Rubio voted for that dangerous bill and failed to take the bold conservative stands that would have distinguished him from the huge Republican field.

What’s more, Senator Rubio, who earlier had said he would advance an amendment that would have required the president to certify to Congress that Iran recognizes the state of Israel, wilted and settled for language asserting that the nuclear agreement would not compromise U.S. support for Israel’s right to exist.

Affirmation of Israel's right to exist is of course is a foundational principle of American foreign policy that was never questioned until Obama became president and Republican leaders on Capitol Hill became not so much the leaders of an opposition party, as a collection of craven cowards who wish only to avoid the unpleasantness actually having principles and standing for them would entail.

If Senator Rubio was trying to communicate to Jewish voters that he would support Israel, his craven retreat on his amendment on Iranian recognition of Israel surely showed them that he could not be trusted to fulfill his commitments to them.

How does Rubio’s support of RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE
and RomneyMarriage and Amnesty,
and the use by the GOP of IRS attacks on conservatives,
possibly make the unqualified RINO
a “star” of the TEA PARTY?

Is this another blunder that he’ll blame on ‘being duped’ by Senator Schumer?

He’s not, but maybe we should ask the Great One, Mark Levin who thinks Rubio is a conservative star himself?

Pay attention Mark Levin if you’re reading this.

Rubio is a standard gope running as a conservative who will help Bush knock down the conservatives one by one in the primaries. Rubio is a stalking horse for Bush who is a stalking horse for whateveer Democrat is put up. Perhaps Rubio is under the illusion that Bush really wants to be president and wants to be his VP. Maybe he dreams of a Bush-Rubio administration. I dream of it, too, and then I wake up in a sweat and trembling. It’s like those dreams I had when I was little where I am running from some monster and my legs are mud.

Corker and the rest of them are too timid to advocate for the correct remedy. Impeachment. This convoluted legislation is a poor and dangerous substitute for the correct remedy for a rogue out of control President.

Rubio proved he was untrustworthy when he schemed with Schumer against the citizens with his Gang of Democrats and Democrats in R jerseys. I’m glad he’s giving up his Senate seat. He will never be President. He is running as a blocker for Bush. Probably has a cushy job lined up for when he drops out provided by the Cheap Labor Express.

Also, from today’s Obama press conference, Fox Business is saying that Obama stated that the sanctions would remain in place UNTIL the agreement is signed.

Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"
I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...
