Court docs: Senate staffer planned to exchange drugs for sexual favors

WASHINGTON — A U.S. Senate staffer is facing a federal charge after court documents say he bought drugs from China with the intent to exchange them for sexual favors.

Senate staffer Fred W. Pagan is facing the federal charge of possession with intent to distribute after court documents say he shipped drugs in from China.

Pagan is a staffer for Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Mississippi.

not up on my illegal narcotic knowledge, why would a woman trade sexual favors for a date rape drug? it is a male who received them so this makes no sense. unless he was gay and other gay males would give him sex to get the drug to use on other gay males.
OR a girl giving him the favors was gay but would give him sex for the drugs to get other girls to pass out This is the STUPIDEST reach of logic I've ever had, and I've had lots.

Thank goodness Cochran is unaware of his surroundings. Per the Washington Post story, Pagan has been Cochran’s lackey since age 16, and this betrayal would be a heavy blow.

WHEW! Thank GOD it was a republican staffer. Had it been one of Harry Ried’s staffer or Nancy Pelosi, they’d have just given him a slap on the wrist, asked where he got it, and can he get some more.
