FCC Commissioner: Feds May Come for Drudge [Isaiah 29]
CNS News ^ | 5/4/2015 | Rudy Takala

(CNSNews.com) – Federal Communications Commission (FCC) member Ajit Pai said over the weekend that he foresees a future in which federal regulators will seek to regulate websites based on political content, using the power of the FCC or Federal Elections Commission (FEC). He also revealed that his opposition to “net neutrality” regulations had resulted in personal harassment and threats to his family.

Speaking on a panel at the annual “Right Online” conference in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Pai told audience members, “I can tell you it has not been an easy couple of months personally. My address has been publicly released. My wife’s name, my kids’ names, my kids’ birthdays, my phone number, all kinds of threats [have come] online.”

Pai, one of two Republicans on the five-member FCC, has been an outspoken critic of net neutrality regulations passed by the agency on Feb. 6. The rules, which are set to take effect on June 12, reclassify Internet providers as utilities and command them not to block or “throttle” online traffic.

However, Pai said it was only the beginning. In the future, he said, “I could easily see this migrating over to the direction of content… What you’re seeing now is an impulse not just to regulate the roads over which traffic goes, but the traffic itself...”

Isaiah 29:21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

The Bible foretells of a time when men would be unable to speak truth because corrupt laws. Similar to what George Orwell wrote about in his book, "1984", the verses presuppose a day in which the government closely monitored everyone's words looking for offense.

Today we call this "political correctness", "fairness", or the Marxist "party line". Socialists have dominated the political agenda recently by controlling the language. By claiming that everyone is the victim of some form of micro-aggression (except those who disagree with them of course) the liberals have created a social movement that canonizes their agenda and pushes all of their specific ideological elements.

The Marxist-Leninist concept of democratic centralism involves strict adherence to, and defense of, a communist party's positions in public, while in inner-party debate sessions, the line can be questioned, criticized, and changed if necessary.

Welcome to America 2015.

One of the top ten things a Conservative president needs to address in January of 2017.

It will absolutely be used to attack websites on the basis of content, and it will happen almost immediately.

Why is Drudge the example?

All he does is put up links.

Let’s just turn the other cheek and sit on our butts and watch american Idol and Dansing with the starts. We like home and gardn tv and the fixer upper shows. But we don’t want to fight for our constitution— that would be raysess.

All he does is put up links.

He also declines to link to certain things.

That will be interpreted as "throttling."

There's this thing called the First Amendment that could put an end to such a suggestion in no time flat--ESPECIALLY if this rule is from a governmental agency.

If they do will there be “Drudge Riots” or will the FCC get away with it?

And to think the corporate GOPE is “working with the Democrats to “get thing done.” I don’t hear them say just exactly what they are doing that is getting done, Have you heard? My guess is they are getting corporate capitalism in return for helping the Dems get control. They should not be rewarded any further. Until the border is controlled and the corporate media stops smearing us I am against giving corporations and the rich anything. In fact I think they ought to pay more in taxes. That is a huge change by me.

The first amendment won’t be diddly squat if the Dems get another supreme court seat.

You start with sites like Drudge and Free Republic that are “nodes” of news articles, stories and activism. Once you shut down the central repositories of conservative news stories and activism, the rest are fragmented. It’s like taking out a tree. The roots can send out shoots for a while while, but in isolation eventually they wither away.

That’s the strategy anyway.

Yes, controlling the language, and the right’s concession to it, has allowed the left to cut off debate by either re-defining the terms (”gay”, “queer”), or banning them (the term “thug”, used to describe those who engage in thuggish behavior such as looting). When the words have been re-defined or banned, there’s no language with which to debate. The right has played right into their hands with the “Me Too” strategy.

Tell me again how “net neutrality” couldn’t possibly be used to block political content?

This FCC Commissioner must just be delusional and paranoid, right?

When it comes to that, I hope we will have finished with just sitting around listening to much of anything. I hope we will be doing. It looks like it will take us getting to the point of “nothing to lose” (materially, since losing our freedom isn’t mobilising us) before we will force those in power to have to listen to us and reckon with us. As it stands, large groups of the criminally-inclined acting criminally supposedly on the behalf of the criminal, are the only ones TPTB are paying attention to (not, I think, because they care about that group, except as useful idiots).

So do you still think we are the land of the free home of the brave?

Anyway because Drudge and talk radio points out the truth. That’s right talk radio too. You bet if they will go after Drudge they will go after talk radio.

Notice the FCC does not go after the so called main stream media. This is because they are controlled and push lies all day long.

Drudge just, like you said post links, to tell the truth that ruins the lies and the phony narrative from the so called main stream media.

The government and the so called main stream media
