US President Barack Obama tells Channel 2 in an interview that he can “demonstrate” that a “verifiable” agreement with Iran will be the best way to contain Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
“I can, [I] think, demonstrate, not based on any hope but on facts and analysis, that the best way to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is a verifiable tough agreement. A military solution will not fix it, even if the United States participates. It would temporarily slow down an Iranian nuclear program but it would not eliminate it,” he says.
Asked whether Israel may attempt a military strike without notifying the US, Obama says, “I won’t speculate on that. What I can say is, to the Israeli people: I understand your concerns and I understand your fears.”
The full interview with the US president will be aired on Tuesday.

I don’t get the reluctance to do the OBVIOUS thing, which would be to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities WITH NUKES, which would completely destroy them. Why are our best weapons always off the table?

Obama stated regarding Iran....”A military solution will not fix it, even if the United States participates”....
He said basically the same for Syria, Ukraine, Yemen and all the other conflicts where at most he’s using drones and air targets.
Obama will never actually “go to war”....he only plays on the edges as a “participant” in the M.E. for he said...“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
Obama BEGINS wars as a means of leverage and strong arming....he will never carry them to the desired end of winning one..ever.
The only error is that Obama would be riding side-saddle.

OF COURSE there is a military solution.
That would be like saying there is no military solution to Nazi Germany.
The same person that cannot fix the ISIS problem is pontificating on how to solve the Iranian problem. That’s a rich one.
