A military solution will not fix it, even if the United States participates. It would temporarily slow down an Iranian nuclear program but it would not eliminate it,” he says.

Why have a military action that will only slow down, but not stop a nuclear program, when you can have a wimpy, unverifiable treaty that will do the same thing.
