One would think that Catholic priests like Chicago’s Rev. Michael Pfleger, an early supporter of Barack Obama and his push for gun control, would not be bearing false witness against one of his neighbors. Yet there he was standing in front of Chuck’s Gun Shop in suburban Riverdale, Illinois, to blame it, and other legal businesses like it, along with the National Rifle Association, for the murder spree in the gun-controlled progressive worker’s paradise of Chicago.
Standing with the camera-shy Rev. Jesse Jackson and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence president Dan Gross in front of the gun shop, Father Pfleger proclaimed that the NRA had “blood on its hands” for the children killed in Chicago gang violence and that the NRA would “pay for the murder of our children.”

When will these people get it through their thick liberal skulls that taking away guns from legal owners and or shutting down LEGAL gun stores will not stop gun violence? Criminals don’t got to Chuck’s Gun Shop in suburban Riverdale, Illinois or any other legal gun shop to purchase their weapons.....geez how hard is that to understand?

Your comment is false. Pfleger follows the gospel of socialism, like our unfortunate Pope. The Church has survived fools and scoundrels before, and will survive these, but perhaps not in one piece.

In May 2007, during a Rainbow/PUSH Coalition protest outside a suburban Chicago gun shop (Chuck's gun shop), Pfleger was accused of threatening the life of the owner, John Riggio. The Illinois State Rifle Association released a tape where Pfleger was heard telling the assembled crowd, "He's the owner of Chuck's. John Riggio. R-i-g-g-i-o. We're going to find you and snuff you out… you know you're going to hide like a rat. You're going to hide but like a rat we're going to catch you and pull you out." Pfleger later claimed his use of the phrase "snuff you out" was misinterpreted.

I thought Pfleger was being kicked out of the priesthood, but I guess not.
Chicago bishops, unfortunately, have not had the courage.
