Texas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) declared that the shooting in Chattanooga wasn’t perpetrated by a “lone gunman” “anymore than Hasan and Fort Hood was workplace violence” at Saturday’s Family Leadership Summit in Iowa.
Cruz said, “You cannot fight and defeat radical Islamic terrorism when you have a president and an administration who refuses to utter the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism.'”

I like Ted Cruz but I dream of a candidate with the courage to face the true nature of Islam.
One of the soldiers shot at Fort Hood is saying its time to stop calling them “Lone Wolf” shooters. They’re all members of the same pack and we all know it.
Excellent comparison, Ted Cruz! Everybody in the universe knows that Ft. Hood was more than ‘workplace violence”. Everybody except Obama, that is.
A “lone” Muslim gunman is no different than a “lone” Muslim suicide bomber.
I personally do not care if Cruz really means it, or if he is just banging a political drum to get votes.

Note that in all the coverage, it is noticeably absent as to any information about what happened to the terrorist. The most I have seen is “reportedly killed by the police.” There are no details. There is also no information about the weapons used by the terrorist in his attack.
Both of these things to me are heavily suspicious. That either he wasn’t killed or they are keeping details of the killing quiet while trying to find the other terrorists. And that the weaponry or other materials on his body clearly indicated he was with ISIS.
Yeah, each of the Nazi bombers that blitzed London was a "lone wolf," not part of the Wehrmacht.

His family are enablers....knowingly or otherwise....his trip to Jordan and Yemen for 8 months should reveal some connections but those in other countries are not always willing to co-operate let alone hand over information about their citizens, even if guilty of assisting him.
Since his father had been on Terrorist Watch list then removed.. ..They will now re-examine the evidence in light of the terror attack.

Under GWB, Islamic immigration actually increased (and increased further of course under Obama) So the more honest language didn't inform a more sensible real world policy regarding importing danger into our homeland.
What's the real policy change, not semantic change, that you propose Sen. Cruz?
Rand Paul (of whom I'm not a huge fan) came out recently suggesting we curtail immigration from Islamic countries. That's a great start. Do you agree with cutting/stopping immigration from terrorism-source countries, AKA, the Muslim world?
That camel's nose is already under the tent. In fact, the camel is in the tent. The military now has Muslim Chaplains, I believe.
