The killing of five unarmed military servicemen at two military recruiting centers is an omen and a warning: The “war on terror” has come home. Thanks to Obama’s retreat from Iraq and the Middle East, the jihad waged by Islamic terrorists is now being fought on American soil, instead of on a battlefront in Fallujah and Anbar. Thanks to the borders Obama has destroyed and the tens of thousands of legal immigrants the White House has decided to import from terrorist regions, the enemy is among us. Thanks to Obama’s denial that we are at war at all, the Islamic jihad is now being waged in Chattanooga and Fort Hood, the fly over country that liberals and progressives have always despised.

Imagine if 9/11 were to happen now, instead of almost 14 years ago. What would the government call it? Isolated domestic terror? After all, just like Chattanooga and the rest, those radical muzzies were in the U.S. peacefully, not bothering anyone. There would be no vengeance for the death of thousands of Americans. No speech that someone would pay for this act.

Is David Horowitz writing this article in defense of America or of Israel?

Horowitz is quite correct, Obama is waging a fifth column against the United States and his embrace of the Muslim brotherhood together with his fecklessness in Egypt, Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan have so conditioned of the world to the new reality of America that the new United Nations Security Council just voted unanimously to confirm the absurd deal with Iran.

Yes, Barack Obama is worse than a failure he is an affirmative force on behalf of the enemy. But Horowitz has it all wrong if his strategy is to prevent a lone wolf attack in Tennessee by sending American soldiers to die in Iraq or Afghanistan. After the initial assaults wiping out Saddam Hussain in Iraq and the Taliban in Afghanistan, we gained no additional security by our occupation because there is no nexus between Muslim occupation of those lands and 19 terrorists with box cutters on 9/11 or one lone Wolf in Chattanooga in July, 2015. Horowitz's idea, shared by many conservatives, that we can confine the war to foreign lands by fighting there is patently absurd. Terrorists are not confined by geography nor are they likely to engage in conventional warfare to their disadvantage, rather they will get on a jet plane and fly to America and kill Marines there.

This is not a war to gain and hold geography, although as the jihad marches on they are surely gaining geography, this is a generational long struggle to turn the less crazy Muslims against the more crazy Muslims. It is a war to hold the southern border against infiltration and the possible smuggling of weapons of mass destruction which could actually cost us our democracy. Here again, Obama has acted as an affirmative enemy of the country.

In fact, Horowitz' strategy of leaching blood and treasure into the desert sands in Afghanistan and Iraq weakens America and makes us more vulnerable while it strengthens our enemies as it has so obviously done for Iran.

Horowitz's strategy only makes some sense if carried out in defense of Israel.

I disagree. It "came home" on 9/11. The animals piloting those planes had come to America legally. Our problem was we had a traitor in the white house who refused to admit the problem, viz. expel the enemy. Instead, he assured us that raghead is a religion of peace.

We should have dealt with it then. The Fort Hood murders validate my comments.

The war will begin in 2016. We sat and watchyed as the Rats clearly stole an election in Ohio in 2012. The GOP did nothing. The media did nothing. The Military did nothing. The SCOTUS did nothing.

They will do it again. Cruz, Trump, no matter. We need to remember what we forget every four years.
