Trump wins the opening trifecta and it’s all over but the shouting.

It’s not the delegate counts that will matter in those early days, but the perceived invincibility of the campaign.

If Trump wins Iowa-NH-SC, it will be extremely difficult for anyone to stop his momentum. Extremely difficult, maybe impossible.

Which is why TPTB want to chase him out before the first vote is cast. They're not at all confident that he would *not* win the opening trifecta, and if he did, in fact, win it, they would not be able to stop him at all, bar physically killing him, which presents its own problems.

In short, as Roger Stone remarked they *are* literally wetting their pants. They've taken, what, three shots at him now, and what has it accomplished? His position has only gotten stronger. This is something they totally did not foresee, and they are panicking...
