Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was the hands-down favorite of the Americans for Prosperity annual summit in Columbus, Ohio, this weekend, if the number and volume of ovations during the speeches of five presidential candidates who addressed the annual convention of tea party activists was the measure.
At the other end of the spectrum was former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, a newcomer to events financed by conservative industrialists Charles and David Koch. Bush was attending his first national conference of Americans for Prosperity and was greeted with respectful but restrained applause by a group that rose essentially out of Republican dissatisfaction with federal spending under his brother, former President George W. Bush.

"He did not articulate any plan for what he intends to do as president," said White, of southeastern Ohio. "He used his time to try and rearrange perception of his record in Florida."
Yup, that's ¡Jeb! alright.
Cruz, on the other hand, laid out an agenda that consisted entirely of undoing actions taken by Democratic President Barack Obama.
And that's what America wants, we're done with 0bama and his anti-American agenda.
Are there any Republican candidates which do not outshine Jeb Bush?
I’m seeing lots of libertarians turning to Cruz as the chance of a Rand Paul presidency obviously fade.
They see Cruz as strong on the 10th amendment, a bit more thoughtful and restrained about war fighting. A tax and regulation cutter.
I just walked over to the sink and water is still wet, as well.
So at least some low-info voters are hearing this.
Bottom line with Jeb!...the Power Brokers in the GOPe are pissed and aren't sure where to place their campaign money next if they intend to get any return on their investment.
I hope Jeb! is toast along with Hillary!
¡Jeb!: "I'll help Americans just like I helped Terri Schiavo."
It’s just so encouraging to see the MSM outlets reporting this bad news for Bush.
George Pataki, Lindsey Graham, and Jim Gilmore?
Especially Jeb's left hand. /s
And I’ll bet you voted for the “dumb” Bush just like I did; he was a good man, not a perfect President.
I guess we didn’t have much choice at the time, did we?
I shudder to think if only Al Gore would have won his home state of Tennessee in 2000.
Thats what happens, Yeb, when you spend months badmouthing conservatives then suddenly start making nice when you realize you’re getting your *ss kicked in the primaries.
Funny thing happened on the way to the coronation.
And he loves this country.
I still don’t know how his brother feels about it.
