As much as we bitch about the 'pubs, there are still some Patriots trying to get conservative values back on Capitol Hill.
Let's hope Rep. Meadows is successful and doesn't get thrown under the bus.

I would just like a Speaker whose definition of “bipartisanship” is not “bend over every time the Democrats want something.”

Boehner Is Speaker Of The House Who LOVES To Do As DemocRATS Want
Click Any Pic To Enlarge The speaker of the US House of Representatives John Boehner has told a Dublin audience of his determination to overcome Republican resistance to immigration reform, Arthur Beesley wrote from Dublin, Ireland, for the Irish Times:
Mr Boehner also told how Taoiseach Enda Kenny has harangued him on the matter, telling him how the lack of reform has left some Irish immigrants listening to a parents funeral by phone. His remarks indicate he may yet move to confront opponents of reform within his own Republican party, which is in the vanguard of resistance to it and has a majority in the House.
Imitating Mr Kenny, Mr Boehner said he was seated at lunch between the Taoiseach and President Obama. The Taoiseach says: John, John, John. He says: Hows immigration reform coming? Mr Boehner replied: What the hell do you care about immigration reform? Mr Kenny: Oh John, John. You dont realise there are about 50k of my fellow Irishmen came to the US and never quite made it back across the pond. You know their cousins have got to hold up the cell phone at their parents funeral so their kids in Chicago or Detroit or wherever can listen to the funeral. John, John this is a serious problem. Last Thursday when they met, Mr Kennys message was concise. The Taoiseach said: I think you understand, just get it done.
Boehner spokesman Kevin Smith told Breitbart News earlier on Monday, after the Irish Times piece, that the Speaker remains committed to reform. (Click For More)

Shortly after the 2012 election when both Boehner and McConnell were selected as the GOP leadership it was clear we were lied to and betrayed. That was the final straw for me and the GOP.

Democrats will step forward to keep him in. After all with a 35% rating he is a Democrat. My rep (Raul Ruiz-D) has a 20% rating. And why wouldn’t they want a drunken lout who goes along instead of a serious legislator.

I agree. I think if they can get rid of Boner and the rest of the current “leadership”we will find quite a few good people in Congress willing to do the right things.

Talk is cheap. Let’s see some action. Sorry to be a downer, but we have seen these guys champion conservative issues over and over, then wilt once the heat is on. No credit until credit is earned.

It was that cigar store Injun Boehner that squelched all the 2012 victories of the Tea Party.
