Authorities say a man who was arrested for making threats against an East Texas church, allegedly did so citing God as the reason for his actions.
On Sunday at 2:10 p.m., the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office received a call from the Corinth Church located on FM 346 near Lake Palestine.
The caller said an unknown black male was wearing a camouflage helmet, camo pants, tactical vest and boots entered the church around 2:00 p.m. The caller also stated they could see what appeared to be a pistol in his pocket. The man was later identified as Rasheed Abdul Aziz, 40, of Flint.

I bet $100 he didn’t say “God”.
The MSM lies, lies, then lies again.
There’s going to be more, not fewer, Islam-inspired church invasions as time goes on and more Muslims infiltrate our land. Invading & destroying churches is commonplace to our new Syrian jihad migrants.
However, this particular one sounds like a jailhouse convert to `Prislam’; these are especially dangerous as they are already violent criminals who hate whites and now feel themselves religiously justified.
We “Infidels” need to be armed & ready; yes, even in the house of God.
I believe he also had something to do with the murder of Quannell X-Lax’s brother.
If he had gone into a Baptist Church good chance he would leave feet first. We all pack.
Sounds like the members talked him down. This could have ended so much worse
We need more pistol packing pastors and parishioners!
His god told him and knowing that the God of Israel is God indeed, this man is a disciple of his god Satan. As is many Americans and peoples worldwide.
They had this story on local TV last night. The dude could be black, but looked more like some camel-jockey, maybe like our halfrican nobama.
He’s lived in the area for a while and has a history of threatening with a gun. Living, or rather “stayin” in black neighborhoods he got away with the gun threats because they do not report such to the LEO.
I carry in church as well ....... as does our pastor and many others. Woof !
Praise the Lord, check. Pass the ammunition, check.
This is probably an accurate take on what Christ means when he says take a sword. Don’t obsess over it, and still be willing to sacrifice for the sake of gospel. But you may most certainly guard your fellows.
Your correct and we agree ....again.
Stay Safe !
Surely, this will be on CNNABCCBSNBCMSNBC 24/7, right?
Right. There are causes worth dying for, but being a victim isn’t one of them.
