Mr. RightField nearly died from e-coli 3 years ago. I spent the worst night of my life sitting by his bed wondering if I was going to be a widow. He got so sick, so suddenly, that we nearly didn't get him to the hospital in time. He did not regain full kidney function for 2 years after that. We never did figure out where he got it.

I am so sorry. :( We just lost a local teacher to it. It is such a horrific ‘bug’.
