After a summer largely spent raising money for his Republican campaign for president, Marco Rubio says he's about to start spending a whole lot more time in Iowa and the other early voting states.

"There were obviously other things we needed to do," the Florida senator said this past week in an interview with The Associated Press.

"Rubio recently hired a state director in Iowa, a position other campaigns have had in place for months, and has booked millions in television ads that will start airing in November."

Rubio will soon be elipsing Bush and Kasich in the early states. A real threat to get the nomination.

Well Rubio better ramp up something because at the rate he’s not polling he’s going to find himself back in his law firm in Miami. :-)

If every one thinks like you than we can all say Hello to President Hillary Clinton.

Do you want that?

“There were obviously other things we needed to do,” the Florida senator said ... After a summer largely spent raising money for his Republican campaign for president.

Translation: it took me all summer to find bidders willing to pay enough for my services.

If Hillary wins, America is dead. If Sanders wins, America is dead more quickly. If Rubio/Jeb/Christie wins, America is dead only a little more slowly than with Hillary. I will not under any circumstances vote for a candidate who supports Amnesty.

The only acceptable answer to illegal immigration and illegal immigrants is to (1) secure the border, (2) deport all illegals in our country, and (3) fix the legal immigration system. Those who are deported should be fingerprinted and permanently barred from any path to legal reentry or to citizenship, plus charged for the costs of enforcement, and their employers should be charged for any costs the illegals cannot pay.

I imagine employers would be eager to get rid of their illegals under that policy, while illegals would be eager to leave to avoid the penalties. Illegals who have jobs waiting for them and particularly those with English language skills would have an advantage in a functioning legal immigration system, and that is the only advantage those criminals should be given.

these “journalists” were reporting from Davenport, Iowa and Concord, NH.

Anybody in the audience headed that way to campaign for Ted Cruz? Option B is get a pre-pay cell phone with area code 563 (Davenport) and do it all remotely.

It might not be a good thing for Rubio to ramp up his campaign and have his views known more widely. He would do better to campaign like Hillary — hide from everybody except for carefully selected audiences.

No difference, doesn’t matter, don’t care.

I’m never going to vote for a GOPEr again, so take care not to nominate one.
