Rep. Kevin McCarthy is not even Speaker of the House yet, but there is already a group ready to fire him.
A group of prominent right-leaning organizations formed a coalition Wednesday dubbed "Fire Kevin McCarthy," pledging to remove the California Republican should he be chosen to replace John Boehner when he retires at the end of next month.
"Having worked with Kevin McCarthy in the House, I'll admit he's a friendly guy," former Georgia Rep. Paul Broun said in a statement announcing the formation of the coalition. "But we need a dramatic change in House leadership — we can't afford to replace Speaker Boehner with someone who will continue to carry out his failed legacy, one that has been stifling conservative progress for six years."
Elections for the next House Speaker are slated for Oct. 8.

95 percent of the rank and file are not real conservatives and anyone from the 95 percent will be at best a show.
200 rank and file Republican House members need to be cleaned out regardless of their ability to vote NO on many issues in recent years because the Democrats and Boehner inner circle provided the YES votes.
Those 200 members refused to challenge Boehner’s leadership while he did all the bad stuff. They would not stand up and vote him out....

I read that earlier but there was also the disinformation about him retiring.
Maybe he hasn’t said no? Or maybe Gowdy didn’t think it through yet.
The House would be in ass kick mode of Gowdy takes over as Speaker. The Turtle might retire as well if that happens.
Jordan is a long time conservative.
He has never pushed hard to be a leader. Part of me appreciates that, and another part of me wonders about it.
Some are saying they don’t trust anyone in the House. I understand it, but I do not think the House will vote for a Speaker who is not a member of the House at this time, whether it’s constitutional to have someone outside the House or not.
We are going to get one of the current members whether we want to or not.

I saw McCarthy speaking on Fox today and he is about as inspirational as a limp dishrag .
We have to get rid of all these fully civilian political wimps . They are leading our country into the darkness of powerless ruin .
It’s time to try something else
Every time Jordan and the “Freedom”caucus have had a chance to deny Boehnor the speak position, they chose not to. In my mind Jordan is all talk. I’m not impressed.
Good. From what I have read, McCarthy is another Boehner... soft on amnesty and the rest of the Democrat agenda.
