Russian air strikes create panic among terrorists in Syria - General Staff
TASS ^ | 10-3-2014 | Tass

Russian combat aircraft have carried out over 60 sorties bombing 50 facilities of the Islamic State terrorist organisation in Syria, Col Gen Andrey Kartapolov of the General Staff told reporters on Saturday.

"The aircraft have been taking off from the Hmeimim air base, targeting the whole Syria," Gen Kartapolov said at the National Defence Control Centre. "In the past three days we have managed to disrupt the terrorists’ infrastructure and to substantially degrade their combat capabilities."

"Intelligence reports say that militants are leaving the areas under their control," he said.

"There is panic and desertion among their ranks," the general said. "Nearly 600 mercenaries have abandoned their positions and are making attempts to get out to Europe."

On Wednesday, Russia’s Federation Council empowered the president to use Russian military outside the national territory. The air operation was launched against Islamic State in Syria at the request of Syria’s President Bashar Assad. Earlier, Putin said that Russia would not be involved in operations on the ground.

Since Wednesday, Russian Air Force’s aircraft have been bombing Islamic State facilities located in Syria.

Numerous tweets this morning, saying that the combined Iranian, SA, Hez, Russian offensive against the "Homs pocket" is about to begin, or has already started.

Finally the terrorists have to fight people who have the same rules of engagement as they do.That’s got ‘em scattering like roaches.

In just 3 days!

After 18 months of US sorties, Obola still doesn't have a strategy, and ISIS is still in control of large swaths of Iraq.

But, hey, we have Belgium and Nigeria on our side.

TASS is propaganda, and the tweets (I hope) are misdirection. Like all propaganda, it is half-truth. Let’s also hope that the positive half is true.

If I was a young teen being gang-raped by filthy stinking ISIS men, I would be rooting for the Russians, even if I got blown to bits. Obama is never going to end this.

The Rushkies are in there for how long now— a week? They have accomplished more in that time frame than Boy Bammy’s band aid hits on ISIS. What a fool we have lording over us.

That’s the message.

I wish the Russians the best of good fortune. Assad is the lesser of evils in that area of the world. The Russians have a strong interest in preventing a popular uncontrollable islamic jihad movement, which have happened before. Watch the movie Khartoum. Same thing, different period (1880s). It seems to me the Russians are acting more like they did pre-Soviet times. We should support them in this action.

If I didn’t know better, I’d say Obama was actually covertly supporting ISIS.

Listen to the opposite of what soebarkha says and you'll most likely know something about what's really going on.
