Hillary Clinton presented one set of Benghazi facts to her own family; another to the family of the victims and the American public.
Within hours of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Clinton emailed her daughter, Chelsea, that Americans had died at the hands of an al-Qaeda like group. Al-Qaeda is the Islamic extremist terrorist group that was led by Osama bin Laden. Clinton also informed Egypt’s prime minister and Libya’s president that the attacks were “preplanned” and “had nothing to do with” an anti-Islamic video posted on YouTube.
Yet Clinton told the American public and families of the Benghazi victims that the maker of the video was to blame for sparking protesters who got out of hand in Benghazi and spontaneously launched assaults. In fact, there had been no protests in Benghazi.
The newly-revealed emails were reported today at a House Benghazi Committee hearing where Clinton testified. They were sent via a private server that Clinton set up and used for official government business when she was secretary of state. They were not originally turned over in response to public records requests and subpoenas. The existence of Clinton’s private server was discovered last year by the Benghazi committee.
The information indicates for the first time that Clinton had direct knowledge of, and accepted almost immediately, the terrorist nature of the attacks. She not only told a different story publicly; she also stood silent as her ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, and other Obama administration officials advanced alternate narratives. The attacks happened amid President Obama’s re-election campaign in which he had touted al-Qaeda’s supposed demise.

They are very concerned with covering up the REASON why the enemy attacked us at Benghazi.
The fight wasn’t even over and Hillary and Obama were already searching out lies and putting those lies out about the REASON why the enemy attacked us at Benghazi.
Did you see any, ANY, laser like focus on rescuing the Americans in Benghazi?
Wouldn’t you think that would have been the ONLY thing they were communicating about in the first 24 hours of this attack?
But, a few hours into this, when the bullets are still flying, Hillary and Obama are furiously searching for a lie about the REASON why the enemy attacked us at Benghazi.
Their main concern was covering up the REASON why the enemy attacked us instead of saving and protecting Americans.
Why?
Hillary is already untrusted by half to 2/3 of the public. This will just add to those numbers.
One element has been left out in this—the one behind al of it—OBAMA. She was following his orders—and she still is.

Atkinson reminds us of something else. It was not Obama who led the State Department meme of the video, but Ben Rhoades.
It was Rhodes in the State Department who wrote the memo instructing the set up for the Sunday shows and Susan Rice’s appearances, to use the video meme for public consumption and to AVOID any allusion to policy failures.
Sheryl understands what a public lie is, the committee has the lies in writing and names names.
This is going to land in the lap of the Undersecretary of State, before this is over.
Gowdy wouldn’t name him, but this is all going to be coming out and climbing up to the top, before the Committee puts this baby to bed.
The political part of it for the Republicans is that the State Department has shot itself in the foot with the endless delays and the drip, drip, to the point that it can interfere with Hillary Clinton gaining the nomination over the favorite ground candidate, Bernie Sanders.
What was Chelsea’s security clearance?
I don’t understand why she would be emailing Chelsea about any of this anyway. Hillary was safe and sound in DC (if i remember right) so it’s not like she or anyone else Chelsea knew was in danger so why the email?

because the “attack” was a planned kidnapping of the ambassador...hence no security and a stand down order to prevent any deaths so that the Amb could be traded for the blind sheik and some gitmo detainees thus making Obbie a “hero” just before the election....When our guys disobeyed the stand down order and went to help..the muzzies felt double-crossed and killed the Amb......That left Obama with a problem..How to fulfill his end of the deal with the muzzies....Enter....
