How about forever, Ted? And I suggest a look at F-1 and J-1 too.

My opinion:

Perfect? No. Acceptable when weighed against everything else? Yes.

“halt legal immigration if unemployment is high”

Over 90 million Americans not working. Not high enough?

As Trump said on the Michael Berry radio show today, “Ted is coming around to my way of thinking about immigration. He’s not as strict as I am, but he’s almost there.” He also said that he and Ted were very, very close in the way they view things and that he likes and respects Ted very much. (paraphrased) Hmmm...

Cruz people have been reading Freerepublic and know most here don’t like H1b.

Also, I was on the phone with a Cruz fund raiser and I told him as a retired IT guy that its a myth that we don’t have enough native talent.

So many IT are out of work, college grads can’t get jobs because H1b scabs took them.

Cheap money express depressed wages.

You got to get your message out.

Michelle Malkin’s new book research blows up their excuse, its just BS we are forcing them to stop screwing american STEM workers and new college grads.

I had no problem finding the deportation of illegals in Cruz’s plan. It is the Law Enforcement sections of the plan.

Six months? ....for a second there, I thought Ted was serious about addressing the issue.

I think their is some co-ordination going on. Trump takes on Carson and Cruz takes on Rubio.

Day late, dollar short. Cruz missed this one and can’t undo his past 500% increase in H1B and his refusal to address illegals early on. Nope, he should quit and make room for Trump, not that Trump gains anything with his departure as Cruz has limited support.

Not a fan of Cruz’s squishiness on H-1B and TPA/TPP but don’t see why he would quit now when fundraising is good, he’s got a ground game, and is expected to do well in the SEC primaries.

Even colleges are getting in on the act. So much for taking care of their own students.

After this major scandal I see The Commission on Presidential Debates has chosen
Wright State University to host the first presidential debate of 2016. Do they know something we don’t.

As I’ve said before (and got abused for) Trump is clearing the way for Cruz. Trump says “outrageous” things to see how they fly. IF Trump implodes, Cruz will take the best Trump positions and run with them.

Note that Trump hasn’t made any attacks on Cruz.

I think they’re in cohoots for a Trump/Cruz ballot. Who’s on top doesn’t make a big difference to me.

Trump/Cruz/2016

Well-stated. 6 years. My first thoughts. WAKE UP, Cruz.

If Cruz plays nice with Trump in the run up to the primaries, maybe as President, Trump will put Cruz on the US Supreme Court. That would be another conservative justice.

How about never letting another Muslim into the US for any reason.

He actually had some very good reasons for wanting to increase H-1B visas.

Sen. Cruz Amendment to Immigration Legislation to Increase H-1B Visas (Youtube 9:38)

Assuming economic growth and more and higher paying jobs for Americans is of any interest to anyone.
