Is there anyplace left for Christians to shop?
WND.COM ^ | 24 NOVEMBER 2015 | LINDA HARVEY

Well, it’s that time again – time to get out the Christmas list and start hitting the stores.

The problem is – what stores? For any Christian who wants to spend hard-earned dollars with family-friendly, Christian-affirming retailers, restaurants and service providers, the list is growing shorter all the time.

I stopped shopping at Macy’s in 2011 after learning about the retailer’s grossly unjust policy against women. Macy’s management said “yes” to a transsexual young man’s demand to change in the women’s dressing room and rejected a Christian employee’s attempt to block his inappropriate access, even firing her because of her principled actions.

And Macy’s star balloons are now a regular feature of most “gay pride” parades.

If it bothers you, don’t shop anywhere. Make Christmas be about Christ and serving others. Shop for groceries only and give them away.

So, a pervert, wanting to spend some quality time in the women’s dressing room, claims to be a tyranny and everybody is just supposed to believe them?

My church’s Sunday bulletin has a page of ads of local businesses owned /operated by parishioners..if your church does the same thing, start there. You might be surprised at the unusual merchandise or services you’ll find that you wouldn’t find at the large chain stores anyway!!

I shopped Macy's once in my life; they are too high end for me.

Hobby Lobby is a little over a half mile as the crow flies from me; I went there once in the last 3 years.

I've never eaten at Chic-fil-a, inconvenient location plus I like to make my chicken sandwiches at home.

I do remember going to a further hospital er because the closest one was doing abortions. That has all changed now.

The tranny thing in the wrong rest room isn't a big issue for me but, frankly, I think it is sick.

Bears shouting out loud. My family adopted this approach a few years ago. Christmas became wonderful again.

Jesus spent much of His time with sinners....so I don’t know how important this should be.

Now having said that, it’s certainly a good and noble dea to shop with businesses that share your views when you can. I just wouldn’t be pharisaical about it.

Anyplace but Starbucks. The owner DESPISES Christians and has stated he does not want Christians even patronizing Starbucks. OK by me!
