I’m thinking of canceling my cable internet service to save money. I tested my AT&T phone as a hotspot connection for internet to my laptop... and it was fast.

I would probably have to reduce my web surfing a bit... I have a 6 GB data plan for the phone.

Had to deal with TWC today, and it reminded me of South Park

As for customer service, some AT&T people are nice and capable while others know nothing and are spiteful. Overall their polices are manipulative and spiteful. If they want you to switch to a different service, they will purposefully trip up your service just to get you to call.

How could their customers read the tweet if they didn't have internet service?

that’s why I always never use only one provider and use different companies for cell, pc and internet. It also gets tedious when your area only has one telecom provider. My bud uses Charter and they tend to be total dicks because it’s the only provider in the boonies’..

Seems like this is pretty typical response from companies who provide internet service. We have Comcast. AT&T is putting down cable in our area and periodically “mistakenly cuts a cable” so that Comcast goes down. Calls to Comcast receive a recorded response that instead of waiting on the line to report an outage, we can report it much quicker and receive a prompt response if we do it on-line. Never quite been able to figure out how to accomplish that feat.

Time Warner sucks. Verizon FIOS is the only way to go. Flawless.
